Flee Like Jesus: When Retreat Is God’s Strategy

📖 Key Scriptures:

“Then they took up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself...” — John 8:59
“Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews...” — John 11:54
“Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” — Matthew 10:16

🔥 Intro:

There is a spiritual arrogance that makes some believers think running from danger is a lack of faith. But the Son of God Himself — the Lion of Judah — escaped.

In The Mysteries of Household Enemies and Wickedness, I reveal that there are moments when fleeing is obedience, not weakness.

🛡️ Jesus Hid — Why Don’t You?

Jesus didn’t stay where household enemies plotted to kill Him.
He didn’t organize a prayer conference in the middle of His enemies.
He walked away — silently and strategically.

Why? Because wisdom is also warfare.

⚠️ Stop Overspiritualizing Foolishness

If the Holy Spirit tells you to:

  • Leave that relationship

  • Exit that family WhatsApp group

  • Change that job

  • Move out of that house

don’t stay in the name of “faith.”
That’s not faith — that’s pride pretending to be boldness.

🙏 Prayer of Escape:

Lord, give me divine escape routes.
Show me when to speak and when to disappear.
Blind the eyes of my enemies like You did in John 8:59.
I will not die in the trap of emotional loyalty.

🎯 Prophetic Action:

  • Break free from toxic expectations — your safety is not rebellion.

  • Fast for 3 days asking God: “Where do You want me to retreat?”

  • Walk away when God says walk. You don’t need public approval.
